Billy Martin

Vertigo

75 Dunlop Street, Glasgow. G1 4ET. Demolished.

This building was originally called the Warehouse it was then changed to Vertigo.

I remember large queues outside this night club, people flocked from all over the city to get into this popular disco. If you didn’t get in here you could always try next door in the Mardi Gras. The Warehouse was owned by a gentleman called Michael Modlin.

The Warehouse was run by M.D. Alan Beatie, under manager was Billy Martin. The Diner in the Warehouse was managed by Costis Antinlei.

Facts…
In 1973 licensee was Seymour Brian Modlin.
