Burns Monument Hotel 1970

A New Cocktail Bar and upgraded restaurant at the Burns Monument Hotel, Alloway, Ayrshire, was opened by Mr P C Dahl, controller of Scottish & Newcastle Hotels in Scotland and a director of the Thistle Hotels, their subsidiary company. The image is of the sumptuous board available in the upper dining room. The cocktail bar is in the background. 1970.
