My storey starts in the Gallowgate around 1960. Jack Thompson as far as I know oned Jack’s Bar he was a relative on my mother’s side. At some time in the 60s he moved to Millport and bought a pub possibly the Kelburne bar at 16 Stuart st it my have been called Jack’s Bar in the 60s. I would to find out more about the family and am I on the right track . Please help if you can David Hay.
