£70,000 Extension to Brewery…

In August 1970 it was reported that Scottish & Newcastle Breweries were to send £70,000 extending their brewery at 57 Holyrood Road, Edinburgh. Warrant to carry out the work was granted by Edinburgh Dean of Guild Court, but it was pointed out that the matter was still subject to planning committee approval.

The company were also granted warrant to alter their bottling hall at Dundas Street at a cost of £35,000.
