Opening of the Plainsman
Photographed at the opening in Plains, Near Airdrie, of a new public house, aptly named “The Plainsman,” are left to right Mr. Andrew Timmons, the owner, Mrs. Timmons, pulling the first pint, Mr. R McCormick, field sales manager, Ushers, and Mr. W. The Plainsman was demolished to build the Plains Social Club and is now flats.
Plainman was on Main Street Plains. I worked there from 1978-1981. Best pub about
