Got that right sir ! But what a door/entry policy ! Once in, Sat just got better ! Best party invites ever and the 1978 bus run (2 coaches) was a proper blast! Happy happy days and great memories of great people /times !
I WAS REGULAR EVERY WEEKEND DOWNSTAIRS FOR A DRINK THEN UP STAIRS FOR A BOOGIE AND A MUNCH JOE DEEKEN WAS DJ DOWNSTAIRS AND WILLIE CURRY , CRAIG BOWDEN WERE ON THE DOOR
My name’s Toni and I worked there during some of the time you and Ed were dj’s . I worked with Maggie Kinloch and there was a couple of regulars you might remember, Brian, Allan Ure?
I worked the doors there. Most of the door staff trained at the Kartate club across the road. The bar was owned by the Rossi family then. Always very busy and very little aggro. Great night’s were had there by countless folk. Such a pity we can’t sometimes wind the clock back which I certainly remember very fondly.
