The Ring Bar.
After many years the bar became in desperate need of attention especially the building itself, the need for repair and a total refurbishment was needed, however the City Council had other idea’s and was demolished in the 1960s.
The New Coffin had a name change in the late 1950s and was known as The Ring Bar. The photograph above was taken in the 1960s and the pub was already closed down by this time.
