I remember it for the red leather Chesterfield sofas. Although they were a wee bit tired at the time.
Worked in it when it first opened all very new – listed building inside because of the tiles on the walls fancy chesterfield sofas (who would have thought in Glasgow in the 80s) downstairs was just offices staff rooms and the kitchen no other pub at that time – must admit I loved working there – the owner was Ron McCulloch – had a few in the town
The interiors were beautiful. The tiles and the lights made it feel from another century…which it was! I was there late 90’s early 2000s. Not been in for 20 years.
