A Wetherspoon pub, occupying the finest bank interior in the city. Formerly the Bank of Scotland hence the name of the pub.
The premises were previously owned by the Bank of Scotland. The building was designed for the bank by J T Ruchead, during 1867–1870. His design, in the Italian Renaissance style, set the tone for the west end of George Square.

The Vault has been transformed into a seating area. Think about the amount of money that used to be behind that steel door.
