As a small boy I lived at number 5 Tyndrum street with my brother and two sisters. I remember Cecil very well as I used to run errands for him and he would reward me with a packet of crisps. I was always sneaking in as my Auntie Mary was a regular ,the atmosphere was very warm and welcoming and there was always a roaring fire in the hearth. How I would like to go back there and have a pint as a grown up, sadly we were rehoused in 1963 and soon after the whole street was demolished. Another part of old Glasgow gone but not forgotten, by the way its me and my sister in the picture, thanks for posting.
