Yes she was. Mima Boyd. (Previously Mima Rose, née Jack)
john boyed was the land lord of the wee hoose
I remember Sammy. He lived across from us in Carnarvon Street, we were at 33. My father and his brothers drank at the Wee Hoose. Their name was Taylor. Lawrie Taylor.
John Boyd was my step grandfather.
(Mima Boyd’s second husband- after my grandfather died.
(Mima was my father’s mother and John was his step father)
My aunt Deirdre Rose also worked in the pub for a period of time but I’m not sure if she worked in The Wee Hoose or at Kelvin Grove the second pub they had.

Hi Margaret, could you please contact me at john@oldglasgowpubs.co.uk regarding your Grandmother.
I wrote a message here re my family connection to Mima Boyd….but then, the message ‘went’! Not sure if it went through to you….or if it disappeared. I have emailed Victor McClements, but I am not sure when this dialogue took place, and whether or not the above email address is still relevant. I would love to make contact with someone who can tell me more about the family. I went to The Wee Hoose with John, Mima, Ian and Deidre in 1963!
