Passing the Main Street of Cambuslang I noticed that the Clock Bar had a new name “Deek’s.”

This popular pub in Cambuslang is now called Deek’s, an unusual name as it reminds you of a Geek.

A short lived name “Deek’s” I am glad to say that the old pub has now got it’s old name back. The Clock.

Chester's Bar

The last time I was in Cambuslang it was good to see this rundown pub had a face life, it is now called Cheer’s.

This old pub has some great features inside, the ceilings are wonderful and the old bar and gantry is still intact.

Mr T L Carrigan belonged to one of the oldest families in the Trade in Cambuslang and succeeded his father in the business. 1958.

Update theis pub has reverted back to it’s original name “The Kirkhill Bar.”

Carrigan’s was formerly known as The Kirkhill Bar.
