This was one of the shortest openings of a Glasgow pub, it only stayed open for a few years and is now closed down. It was formerly the T S B Bank.

After a few years it opened again by the people who own Fullarton Park Hotel and renamed it the Bank.

The pub was changed to the Bank and again stayed open for a few years and closed down. It now lies empty. 2008.

Patter Merchants. 1991.

Over the years this has been known as Murphy’s Pakora Bar, in the 1980s, Chequers and Downing Street, Moloco in the 90s, The Patter Merchant’s. When Duncan Fraser occupied the premises this was known as The Temple Bar.

Update…2007. This old pub is now called the Goat.
