Rogano is one of my favourite places in the city of Glasgow. When I walk through the main doors of the restaurant I feel as if I have just stepped back in time and get a shiver, the hairs on the back of my neck even stand up.

Rogano was part of a chain of pubs and restaurants owned by Alloa Breweries which included Sloans, Argyll Arcade, Victoria & Albert, Buchanan Street, The Brasserie, West Regent Street.

FACTS….

The Grant family celebrate Rogano’s 21st birthday. A private party was held at Rogano to celebrate the occasion, the guests included several well known journalists, some of whom were present at the opening of the Rogano twenty one years ago, Mr. A Trotter, Mr. Jack House, Mr. A D Mackie, Mr. Robins Millar were some of the guests. To celebrate the anniversary, the Rogano offered its patrons the following menu :-
